Course Description
Stow is Scotlands longest established College in this field and lecturing staff are active and experienced industry practitioners. We strive to ensure that the teaching is contextualised and practical with opportunities for real world experience.

Preferred Entry Requirements
Preferably 2 Highers (at C Grade or above) including English PLUS passes in 2 other subjects at Intermediate 2 or Standard Grade Credit one of which is Math. The second will ideally be Music or a science/technical subject e.g. Physics, Graphic Communications, or Computing. The ability to play a musical instrument such as keyboard, or guitar is highly desirable.

Course Content
Sound Production Theory and Practice; Acoustics; Sequencing and Programming; Multitrack Recording; Digital Audio Workstations; Music Industry.

Progression
HND may constitute first two years of Degree programme at Abertay, Glasgow Caledonian, or West of Scotland universities.
