BA (Hons) Sound Technology

To sustain your career in the sound industry we believe being a multi-skilled practitioner is a necessity: so whether you see your future in recorded sound, live sound or postproduction we help you develop skills in all of these areas.

Finally, although driven by technology, the industry is about working with people - without them the technical tools have no value. We provide the environment, the people and the tools to learn all these things..

Career Prospects

We are proud of our graduate employment record. Sound Technology graduates are working in live sound and theatre sound design, recording studio engineering and production, audio systems design, radio production, sound for film and television and computer game audio. In addition, many of our graduates have set up their own successful companies in these areas.
