What is the course about?
This dynamic and fun course will build on the knowledge and skills required for GCSE. AS Level Spanish integrates the skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing in the development of linguistic competence. You will read a variety of texts from books, newspapers, magazines and the internet, as well as listen to Spanish radio and watch samples of Spanish TV.

A2 Level - Year 2

Materials:
Students will be expected to have their own copy of the chosen textbook and a suitable dictionary/grammar book. There will be the opportunity for work experience, a student exchange.

There is regular assessment throughout the year culminating in 2 formal exams:
Unit 1 Spoken Expressions and Response in Spanish-15%
Unit 2 Understanding and Written Response in Spanish-35%
