Course programme

Starts September 2016. Spanish is the official language of 22 countries; the third most spoken in the world and native language of around 500 million people, including 40 million in the United States. Students taking the Spanish programme will have the opportunity to gain access to these rich and diverse regions of the world united by a common language. Christ Church University has links with Spanish universities and students have the opportunity to make contact with peers in these institutions. Field trips, work experience and Erasmus exchanges are possible and part of the curriculum. Students have the choice of taking part in an Erasmus exchange in Year 2, where they complete a10-credit Academic Placement module, or a Work Placement in Spain (also 10 credits) in the summer holiday between Year 2 and Year 3. The University contributes to the student’s travel and accommodation costs if the work placement is not paid.
