Course Description
A modular course developing skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Full- time classes meet for three 90 minute sessions every week.

Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, usually including English and Maths.

• MEDIA - Television, Advertising, Communication Technology
• POPULAR CULTURE - Cinema ,Music, Fashion/trends
• HEALTHY LIVING/LIFESTYLE - Sports/Exercise, Health and Well-being, Holidays
• FAMILY/RELATIONSHIPS - Relationships within the family, Friendships, Marriage/partnerships

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: Assessed through examination. Thorough preparation in class before set homework. A variety of excercises, including gap filling, true or false, listening and reading comprehension, longer wrtitten answers, translation and essay.

Progression Routes: Success at Advanced Level is the normal progression route to a course in Higher Education. A language qualification is highly sought after in the world of business and commerce.
