No previous knowledge is needed, although a few phrases would be an advantage.
Description
This course is designed to help you to communicate and understand Spanish at a basic level and giving you a good idea of "How Spanish Works".

After completing this course you should be able to:
· Greet people
· Make requests
· Buy things
· Read basic signs, make travel arrangements
· Understand basic responses spoken in the native language
· Describe your job and hobbies
Course Content
· Introduce yourself, members of your family and learn how to greet people
· Order food and drinks
· Do some shopping
· Ask and understand directions (locations), Travel and sightseeing
· Talk about what you like and dislike
· Talk abut your job and hobbies
Where a course is aimed towards an assessment/examination, it is expected that all students will enter for the qualification.
Method of Assessment
Informal, role-plays, question and answers, homework, games
Materials
Pen and notebook.
