Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools CG Diploma Level 3

This course is for experienced learning support staff who undertake a varied range of responsibilities at school under the direction of the class teacher. They will contribute to planning, implementing and evaluating learning activities and will work alongside the teacher to support whole class activities, as well as working on their own with individuals or groups of pupils.

Support staff will need to have sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills at the level required to support pupils' learning. The formal entry requirement for the Advanced Apprenticeship is Level 1 in English, Mathematics and ICT. Relevant skills and attributes include:
