Why take this course? The course is the first step on the career path to becoming a BPS Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist and HCPC Registered Psychologist. It is taught by accredited BPS and HCPC Registered psychologists in buildings with state-of-the art laboratories. Lecturers draw from their varied experiences as practitioners and researchers to bring the subject matter to life and outline how psychological principles and theories can be employed to benefit those in high performance environments (e.g. elite sport) and the health and fitness sectors (e.g. physical activity prescription and promotion). In the Guardian University Guide 2017 our Sports Science courses are ranked number two in the country.
