If are a sports enthusiast and want to devote your working life to the sporting and leisure environment, then our introductory course will give you an up-to-date, comprehensive overview of this worldwide industry. Whatever sport you are interested in, whatever level you have achieved; there is an amazing array of career possibilities both here and abroad.

Progression:
Upon successful completion you can progress to the BTEC First Diploma in Sport at the College or seek employment in the sports industry.

Entry Requirements:
In our experience in order to be successful on this course you will need one of the following:
• four to five GCSEs at grades A*-C including English and maths)
• an intermediate GNVQ
• a BTEC first diploma
• an NVQ Level 2/technical certificate
• successful completion of an apprenticeship course
• successful completion of the Gateway/Newstart course
• equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience.

• issues in sport and leisure
• taking part in sport.

Monday - Friday

Are there any exams?:
The course is assessed on a continuous basis with written coursework and practical assessments.

Instalments are available for course fees. A deposit of £72.50 per year is payable before enrolment followed by three monthly payments of £72.50 per year

If you are aged 16-18, due to Government funding, tuition fees are not applicable for your course (Please note: this does not apply to foundation degrees).

Please note that fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2009/10 (August 2009 - July 2010). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2010/11.
