Entry requirements:
You will normally need to have at least one of the following:
- A BTEC Foundation Certificate in a related subject
- A standard of literacy and numeracy equivalent to 4 GCSEs at grade D.

Course assessment:
All units are assessed by coursework which is graded Pass, Merit and Distinction. An overall grade for the qualification is awarded at the end.

It also provides an excellent basis to go on to the National Diploma in Sport at KGV College to further develop your knowledge and skills in this area. A BTEC First Diploma is equivalent to four GCSEs grades A* - C.
