Who is this course for?
This Apprenticeship is available at both Intermediate and Advanced level, a member of our Recruitment Team will be able to advise which level is most suitable for you based on your current grades and experience. Applicants to this Apprenticeship could be a mix of age and experience. As a guide, applicants may come from a range of routes including: work or work experience training and/or experience which could include a portfolio showing what you have done, foundation learning at level 1, any of the Key Skills or Functional Skills, Young Apprenticeship, vocational or academic qualification(s).
What other experience will I gain?
On the Intermediate Level Apprenticeship you could work as a Fitness Instructor or Gym Instructor, responsible for the maintenance of the gym, developing session plans and delivering sessions for members. It may also include reception duties and increasing membership sales. You could also work as an Exercise Instructor, working with children and adults, preparing, delivering and evaluating exercise sessions, such as aerobics, step aerobics, circuit training, and aqua aerobics. As an Advanced Level apprentice you could work as a Personal Trainer, preparing and delivering training programmes for adults on an individual basis, being able to cater for a variety of needs ranging from older adults to athletes and people wishing to train for a specific sporting activity.
