How will I study?
There are 10 units in Year 1 - 4 compulsory and 6 specialised which will enable you to study particular areas in-depth Compulsory Units * Principles of Anatomy and Physiology in Sport * The Physiology of Fitness * Assessing Risk in Sport * Fitness Testing for Sport & Exercise All students take three specialised subjects in: * Fitness Training & Programming * Sports Psychology * Sports Development * Nutrition * Physical Education & Caring for Children & Young people * Outdoor Adventure
How will I be taught?
You demonstrate your learning by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. The course will be theory based sessions delivered in the classroom and practical sports sessions.
How will I be assessed?
All units are assessed via coursework and an overall grade for the qualification awarded - (Pass, Merit, Distinction criteria).
