Serious about sports coaching? This degree programme should be of interest to you! Develop your academic knowledge, skills and understanding of the coaching process in a range of applied contexts, including community, grassroots, elite, international and disability sport. You’ll develop transferable vocational skills through the delivery, assessment and work experience opportunities provided throughout the programme, with the option to specialise in specific areas of interest that include match analysis, strength and conditioning, sports psychology and sport and international development. The course uses innovative assessments to develop skills and experience through a range of applied assessment activities that include practical coaching, presentations, blogs/vlog, video animations and performance analysis feedback. In addition, this exciting degree offers the opportunity to work and study in a range of international contexts that include Challenger Sports Camps in USA, a Sport for Development project in Zambia and access to the International Study Exchange Programme at over 500 universities including USA, Australia and New Zealand.
