This course is designed for young people who have a genuine interest in the outdoors and sports industry, who already possess some practical leadership experience, and who wish to gain further skills, knowledge, practical experience and qualifications required to make you employable at the end of the course.

Course programme


There are no formal entry requirements.


You must demonstrate throughout the course a strong work ethic and motivation to work as an sports instructor to finally undertake a work placement in the industry at the end of the course.


In addition, 2x acceptable character references will be required and all students will have Senior Tutor and relevant employer DBS checks to ensure all students are suitable to work with young children and vulnerable adults.
