FdSc COMMUNITY SPORTS MANAGEMENT (WEST HAM UNITED FOUNDATION)

Community Sport and Sport Management are two growing areas in the sports industry. Our degree programme recognises this as well as the potential employment opportunities for you upon graduation. The Community Sport Management degree has a mixture of academic topics and practical experiences within the modules you will study, providing you with fantastic understanding of what underpins a community sports organisation and its corporate social responsibility strategy.


The degree programme and our dynamic lecturers will deliver expert content in Sports Coaching, Leadership, Community Sport, Professional Development, Management, Marketing, Health and Leisure, Marketing, Sports Management and Sport Development. Our lecturers are highly qualified, experienced and extremely committed to helping you succeed whilst you are studying with us, and will continue to push you to excel in your subject area. This degree will thoroughly prepare you for graduate employment after two or three years.

Since launching the course in 2015, the degree has become hugely popular and produced high calibre graduates who are now working across the sports industry. Our most recent graduates have achieved full-time and part-time positions at incredible sports organisations such as; West Ham United FC, Manchester City FC (in Abu Dhabi), Crystal Palace FC, Arsenal FC, London Sport, The FA, Essex Cricket Club, London Lions, London Basketball Association and more. After completing their degree, our graduates have remained a part of the West Ham United family, regularly visiting our current students to talk about their journey so far and what they had to do in order to graduate and succeed.
