Sports Massage Therapy Level 4

The ITEC Level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy is comprised of 2 mandatory units. The Learner will study the theory and practice of Advanced Sports Massage Therapy to include the 2 mandatory units. The underpinning knowledge and skills required to successfully perform these treatments is also required. The units are Practical Anatomy and Physiology for Sports Massage which is assessed by a multiple choice question paper, an assignment and 5 case studies and Applying Massage Methods to Prevent and Manage Injury which is assessed by evidence of 100 hours of practical treatment, a written exam and a practical exam .
