The Spray Tanning course is designed to provide therapists with all the skills to be able to create a professional spray tan.
In recent years Spray Tanning has become increasingly popular with the increase in skin cancer, the sun’s harmful UV rays and the ageing effect associated with the use of sunbeds. Spray Tanning is now considered the safest and most effective way to achieve a flawless, natural looking tan with the main ingredient Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) in most spray tans being approved for over 30 years. DHA is a colourless sugar which reacts with the amino acids of the stratum corneum skin cells creating the pigmented tanned look.
You will learn how to carry out consultations and patch tests. You will also be provided with advice regarding pre-application of the product, how to set up and maintain the equipment, together with how to correctly apply the product and the after-care advice you should give to your client.
This is a generic course that will allow you to purchase products from a number of companies including Fake Bake. You will need to provide a model for this course.
