Stained Glass Design

During her time in Siena Italy, Jo established her signature style of combining traditional stained glass techniques with contemporary fused glass.
Moving away from traditional stained glass her work combines the old techniques with the new by using both disciplines enabling her unusual results.

Today Jo offers a bespoke design service specialising in commissioned works for both private and corporate clients, these have included churches, chapels and stunning windows artwork for private houses.
This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy learning new craft skills in a professional artist’s studio in a small group or on a one to one basis.
You will learn how to make your own stained glass panel or mirror panel that you can take home.
You will learn all the processes in making stained glass including how to draw a design, cut glass, lead, solder and cement.

The maximum class size is 3 so there’s plenty of one to one time. No previous experience is necessary so beginners are welcome.

The courses are intended to be an introduction to stained glass providing the first steps to an enjoyable creative pastime or planting the seeds as a subject to pursue further.
