This is a year long (30 week) course, split into two 15 week semesters; A1i and A1ii and is designed to assess an elementary knowledge of Japanese.
Coursebook: Japanese for Busy People (AJALT)
This text will be available from the school at the start of the course.
This course is suitable for both adults and young people form the age of 16 onwards.
Learners who passed this class confirm that they have reached a language level of A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, indicating the ability to use Japanese at an elementary level.
At the end of the course you should be able to;
- Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases.
- Introduce yourself and others and ask and answer questions about personal details.
- Interact in a simple way with native Japanese speakers
