This flexible on-line learning course is a short programme at a basic introductory level with information on
what counselling is, the history of counselling and accreditation requirements.
Please note that this course does not qualify you as a counsellor.
The course also considers how clients can access counselling and the costs involved.
Following successful enrolment you will be provided with instructions to advise you about accessing the course content and the course discussion forum. This forum allows you to contribute to discussions and to ask questions of other students and the lecturer.
The course runs for ten weeks with around three hours of input required each week and costs 90.00.
Students successfully completing this course may be able to progress to an Introduction to Counselling course.
