To ensure candidates can carry out daily tasks in lighting and guarding systems to enable trainees to take adequate measures to minimise any inconvenience to the general public during the course of streetworks and to maintain a safe environment for the general public, pedestrians and motor vehicles and persons engaged on the streetworks.
