Stress Management
Course Objective: a practically-based, interactive workshop that gets away from the classic models of stress as something ‘out there’, and instead offers insights and tools to help people recognise how they might not just survive, but actually thrive in a stressful environment.
 
The course introduces tried and tested practical tools to ensure participants feel more able to deal with demands whilst staying in control.
 
It can also be extended for managers, to help them formulate methods of dealing with identified issues amongst the team, in keeping with the Health & Safety Executive’s Management Standards for Work-Related Stress.
 
 
By the end of the course, participants will have:
 
  • Developed self-awareness, enabling them to operate at a higher level of personal understanding
  • Gained a deeper understanding of the effects of workplace stressors and the value of personal powerfulness in dealing with them
  • Picked up practical, usable skills which produce immediate benefits in the workplace
