Director of the Centre for Outdoor Education Studies at Trinity College,
University of Wales. He has been involved with outdoor and experiential

Australia and the UK. Andy has led and taken part in expeditions
throughout the world including Scandanavia, New Zealand, Australia,
Russia, China, Nepal, South Pacific islands, North America, and
Antarctica. He uses the cultural, philosophical and organisational
insights gained from these experiences in his work with a broad and
diverse list of clients, including young people, children, higher
education students, adults returning to work, special needs, management,
ethnic minorities and youth at risk. Andy is an Accredited Practitioner of
the Institute for Outdoor Learning and uses the outdoor learning
environment as a setting for personal development, community regeneration
and management training programmes. He is a highly respected commentator
on outdoor and experiential learning and a regular contributor to
international publications and conferences on outdoor learning.
