The course also provides delegates with an overview of subsea operations including the issues surrounding the use of subsea systems and the importance of continuously inspecting, maintaining and repairing the facilities to avoid unnecessary downtime.
The course is based around legislation and regulations that apply to the choice, design and optimisation of subsea facilities and reviews the regulations and DBERR and Industry Guidance Notes/Codes of Practice.
The course is a combination of lectures and participation exercises with ample opportunity for delegates to ask detailed questions on any related aspect.
