It is an essential requirement that all personnel, including divers, who are required to operate lifting equipment and get involved with lifting operations, are suitably trained and experienced in it's safe use. This course has been specifically designed to satisfy the training part of this requirement.
This unique course teaches the delegate about sub-sea lifting operations, the safe use of lifting equipment in the sub-sea environment, regulations, standards snd industry best practice. The course covers planning, risk assessment, pre-use inspection and includes complicated practical rigging and lifting exercises both in air and under water in the National Hyperbaric Centre's dive tank.
CONTENT: The first two days of the course are delivered at NSL's training centre followed by two days at the National Hyperbaric Centre.
