Who is the course for?
This course is aimed at students who wish to study body massage in order to offer treatments to maintain physical health and well-being as well as inducing relaxation.

During the course you will have the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge within the field of Swedish Body Massage.

Will I need anything else?
Overall/tunic, (approx. 28) black trousers and black shoes
A camera for photographic evidence
Stationary (pens, coloured pencils)
2 passport photographs
1 lever arch file
1 set of extended dividers

You will be required to provide your own models for assessments.

How long & often do I attend?
The standard duration of the course is 32 weeks, 3 hours, one evening per week. You will be required to attend for a minimum of 90%.

How will I be assessed?
For each unit you will be required to complete a written assignment/pack, or end of unit written test and you will be assessed on practical aspects of that unit. You will be required to sit external test papers.

You will be required to put together a portfolio of evidence. You will also be required to attend on the day of External Verifiers visit. On completion of this course you will be able to go onto Level 3 Diploma in Body Massage, Level 3 Diploma in Hot Stone Therapy or Diploma in Aromatherapy

What opportunities will this lead to?
On completion of this course you will be able to go onto Level 3 Diploma in Body Massage, or Diploma in Aromatherapy.
