The Level 3 Swedish (body) Massage Certificate covers the following:

• Client consultation
• Providing massage treatment
• Evaluation of treatment and aftercare
• Anatomy, physiology and other essential knowledge
• Health, safety and security in the workplace
• Employment standards

This course equips the learner with the practical skills and underpinning knowledge to perform a full body massage competently and safely. It can be used in any workplace.

This course is suitable for those already working in a salon, leisure complex or spa environment who wish to add to the therapies they currently offer. The course also provides an introduction to holistic therapies for those who may be considering this as a career option.

Successful completion of this course allows students to work on a self-employed basis or to seek employment in a salon, leisure complex or health spa.
