Swing dance

Course Content:
This course will cover the basics of Swing Dance

Each lesson is structured to introduce new steps and sequences of steps as each lesson builds on the previous week’s lesson. As it is a group class progress can be varied to suit the learners.

The course will introduce the basic steps, combinations of figures and short routines

You will be asked to dance with other students in the class and sometimes to dance with the tutor.

For the first class:
• Wear whatever you like as long as you can easily move around.

• Wear shoes with a smooth sole – avoid anything too heavy like boots, or too flimsy such as flip flops

• Bring a drink
Assessment Methods:
Students will be given verbal feedback on their performance during classes.
