Course programme

The degree course is structured so you spend one or two full days a week in college and one day a week in school, which extends to two days in school after the first semester. All students will undertake five core 20 credit modules as well as a 40 credit independent study module. The College experience is rich, broad and balanced and you will be prepared to teach the diverse range of subjects throughout the primary phases. Foundation subjects are an integral part of the programme. The course also allows the students to gain the Chartered Teacher of the PSHE Association which is a nationally recognised framework for developing effective practice in PSHE education and excellent professional development.
