The qualification consists of 3 units and seeks to provide:

  • Opportunities to Share and Reflect on Good Practice
  • The Chance to Develop Strategies and Delivery Methods
  • Strategies for Motivating This Age Group and Managing Challenging Behaviour
  • An Understanding of Key Legal and Health and Safety Issues
  • A Chance to Widen Understanding of School Structure, including National Curriculum

The qualification consists of 3 units and seeks to provide:

What level is it?

When will I attend?
First Monday 10.00am - 3.00pm
Subsequently Monday 4.00pm - 7.00pm for approximately 9 sessions (Dates to be confirmed)

How will I be assessed?

  • A completed portfolio
  • 2 observed 14-16 teaching sessions, the first may be carried out by a critical friend
  • Completed work will be assessed and moderated according to BTEC requirements
