What does the course involve?
NVQs are nationally recognised qualifications that consist of work-based assessments that demonstrate knowledge, skills and competence. They have the advantage that they are more flexible in terms of students' time than conventional qualifications.
What will I study?
Students will need to complete four mandatory and two optional units.
Mandatory Units Maintain and develop effective working relationships, organise and communicate information, ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety.
Optional Units Organise your teams resources, organise and develop yourself, help your team members to develop their performance, resolve customer service problems, enter and find data using information technology, recruit, select and keep colleagues, provide learning opportunities for colleagues, manage a budget, manage a project, monitor and solve customer service problems, work with others to improve customer service.
What are the entry requirements for Team Leader NVQ Level 2?
- Some previous experience is desirable.
- Portfolio of evidence
Students will need to be working in a suitable supervisory position.
