Team Leading ILM Level 2 Award

Course Overview
This award from ILM aims to give practising or potential team and cell leaders for the foundation for their formal development in this role. This course has two primary objectives:

• To assist participants in gaining the basic knowledge required by a team/cell leader
• To develop basic team leading skills

Course Structure
The course can be delivered in a flexible format, but generally involves attendance at 4 workshops over a period of 4 weeks (total 24 hours)

The course covers the following topics:

• Workplace Communication
• Developing Yourself as a Team Leader
• Planning & Monitoring Work
• Motivating the Work Team

Qualification Aims
This course enables the student to achieve a Team Leading ILM Level 2 Award.

Assessments/Examinations
Assessment will be through completion of a reflective review that relates to each session that is attended.
