Introduction:
This programme aims to give practising and potential team leaders a foundation for their formal development in this role. This is achieved through the development of an extensive range of team leading skills, and assisting participants to gain the comprehensive knowledge required by a team leader. The wide choice of units gives a high level of flexibility, allowing the qualification to be tailored to meet the varying needs of participants and employers across all employment sectors.

Course Content:

Assessment:
Assessment of this programme is through candidates providing evidence, normally through a portfolio, to demonstrate that they meet all of the requirements as described in the relevant standards. Each candidate is allocated an assessor who will advise and support them through the qualification.
Careers & Progression Opportunities:
This qualification could aid career progression , or lead to further study. Progression opportunities include: ILM Level 3 Introductory Certificate in First Line Management, ILM Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management and ILM Level 3 NVQ in Management.
