Introduction The Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading is ideal for you if you are responsible for a team of colleagues and;
- Whose work involves the application of knowledge and skills in a significant
range of varied work activities, performed in a variety of contexts, and some of which are complex or non-routine
- Who has some degree of personal autonomy and responsibility
- Collaborates with others through membership of a team

Key Objectives To improve and develop management skills.

Course Units To achieve the qualification the candidate must complete six units in total. These are drawn from four mandatory units and seven optional units.

Mandatory units:
· Manage your own resources
· Provide leadership for your team
· Develop productive working relationships with colleagues
· Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety

Optional Units
· Encourage innovation in your team
· Allocate & check work in your team
· Provide learning opportunities for colleagues
· Help team members address problems affecting their performance
· Participte in meetings
· Resolve customer service problems
· Support customr service improvements
