There are many aspects of the Technical Theatre apprenticeships, including: Assessing risks Selecting and using safe systems for working at height Getting in, fitting up and getting out Preparing and assembling rigging and de-rigging Developing and refining ideas for sound Operating sound for a live performance in the theatre Preparing and operating special effects for live performances Operating sound for a live performance in the theatre Running and crewing an ongoing production Planning lighting requirements for a production Preparing drawings to communicate designs Setting up and checking sound equipment A proportion of your study will centre upon the type of your employment and thus will vary from employer to employer.
