This is a work based learning course for Apprentices in Technical Theatre. A diverse and supportive college environment for you to hone and share your skills and experience from the workplace. We offer level 2 and 3 Qualifications in Technical Theatre. You work 37 hours in your theatre and then come to college for day release (weekly, bi weekly or monthly) for input and assessment.

What you need to know
How will I study?

You will study your 'technical certificate' which is a collection of units focusing on being an employee and technician in the Creative & Cultural industry. Alongside that you will gain the skills in your workplace which will allow you to complete your NVQ certificate which is the practical and hands on element of the course. You will use an online assessment system to log evidence of your progress throughout the course.
How will I be taught?

You will be taught mainly by being an active employee in your workplace and evidencing this work for your assessor. You will have group theory lessons where you will undertake discussions and research on relevant topics. You will have lectures and seminars on all the topics for which you will be assessed,
