Learning Styles
There is no formal homework set for this subject but students enjoy the open-ended projects and complete the work to an extremely high standard.
Students are always encouraged to work at their own pace and it is therefore likely some candidates will finish the course early.
Students do not have to have access to a computer at home.
Subject combinations and progression
This subject is useful for any student. It is of great value for university students who are now required to word process all assignments.
There are other skill based courses in the college but this is an independent course which can be continued on to higher levels either in the same or another academic year.
Subject modules and assessment
Two externally set examinations during the year.
Distinction and Pass are available at all levels.
Entry Requirements
None, although computer literacy is useful.
