We are very pleased to be one of the only schools in the UK to offer a traditional Thai Foot Massage Course developed by therapists who have actually visited and studied in Thailand. This course is easy and fun to learn, and produces a deep and unique feeling of balance, relaxation and well-being. It dates back many years and is still practised by monks in Buddhist temples today. Elements will include working on 'Sen' lines, which are from the Ayurvedic tradition and are the equivalent to Chinese meridians; the stimulation of reflex points using the traditional stick and foot wrapping.

In this dynamic and practical one-day certificated course, we’ll take you from massage beginner (or therapist) to being confident in giving a traditional foot massage. The workshop will give you an insight into the origins of Thai foot treatments which were first recorded in the famous ‘Wat Po Temple’, in Bangkok where it is believed that it has been taught since the reign of King Ram the 3rd in the mid 19th century – so, rest assured the treatment you will be learning is steeped in oriental medical tradition and history.
