Description
Gain the skills required to chair shorter and more productive meetings and save the company time and money. In addition to looking at interpersonal skills needed to chair a meeting, the course looks at how to prepare, inform, control and record effective meetings.

· The importance of setting of clear agenda objectives
· The role of meeting members
· The role of the chairperson - the qualities
· Types of meetings
· Planning and recording meetings
· Identifying behaviour patterns and how to respond
· Effective communication skills - selecting the correct pitch, questioning and listening techniques, summarising and implementing action plans
Where a course is aimed towards an assessment/examination, it is expected that all students will enter for the qualification.
