Course programme

Located in the heart of Downpatrick, Down Arts Centre manages the Ultimate Guide and is the operational base for the arts in Down District. Staffed by Down District Council Arts Team, the venue produces a busy programme of events all year round, as well as producing and managing the annual Opera Fringe Festival on behalf of Fringe Performances Ltd, and the Newcastle Summer Season.

Theatre Lab (Junior)

Theatre Lab is a fantastic opportunity for young people aged 8 - 11. If you are interested in acting and would like to develop your performance skills, come and join tutor Orla McKeagney for the chance to explore text work, movement, improvisation and character development.
