The Threading Course is 'Approved by The Guild and BABTAC for Continuing Professional Development' and carries 10 CPD Credits.

Duration

One day for Qualified Beauty Therapist and 2 Days for Non-Therapists

Requirements

To attend the one day course you must hold, or be undertaking a qualification in Beauty Therapy/Hair Removal/Hairdressing and be qualified to at least Level 2. (or equivalent)

All Students will be working on each other for practice and assessment so it is essential that facial, leg, arm or eyebrows be left to grow.

Cotton thread will be provided and there is opportunity to purchase more if required in additon to a Specialist Threading Kit.

Assessment

The course consists of Theory and Practical with final Assessment of both before a Pass can be achieved.

Insurance

All therapists should have public liability cover and upon successful completion of the course it will be necessary to contact your insurers to inform them of the additional qualification to be added to your cover. Students currently undertaking qualifications will have to wait until passing their final exams before they can be insured.

Those on the two day course can apply to BABTAC for insurance on completion of the training.
