If you are dedicated, determined and love this exciting genre, the course will show you how to understand, plot and produce an entertaining thriller of your own.

The Thriller's popularity has evolved over the last hundred years as the media industry has also developed. It is, by definition, a genre to excite - to thrill. It encompasses mystery, suspense, adventure, politics and espionage, technology, the supernatural and the many and varied human states of mind and being. Everyday people face extraordinary events, which cause them to change and grow, ultimately overcoming the cause of the drama.

You will study the work of successful thriller writers, along with ten comprehensive course modules. Each module will explain and introduce the essential elements of the genre. Set assignments have been designed to develop your understanding of the thriller, helping you to explore and develop your own novel and writing style. Your work will receive constructive, balanced critiques to help you learn and grow as a writer. If ten assignments are not sufficient then there will be an opportunity to buy ‘extensions' should you wish to continue.

Thrillers entertain: they provide page turning drama and suspense. This course will show you how you can write your own - all you need are commitment and the desire to do it.
