This course covers the following; (see website for further details)

  • Introduction to tiling tools and materials.
  • Checking levels, measuring and marking out the walls.
  • Applying PVA and battons.
  • Fixing tiles correctly and accurately.
  • Measuring and cutting tiles to required size and shape using both manual and electric wet tile cutters.
  • Cutting holes in tiles.
  • Mixing and applying grout correctly for the best possible finish.
  • Cleaning and polishing finished tiling work.
