Tissue viability and wound assessment 2 hrs

This course is aimed at health and social care staff undertaking
tissue viability risk assessment in relation to pressure area care
and the risk of skin breakdown.

This training is relevant to those who support individuals at risk of pressure sores in a range of
settings, community, residential or supported living.

• Understand the need for tissue viability risk assessment
• Be able to undertake tissue viability risk assessment
• Be able to record and report on tissue viability risk assessment
• Understand when the risk assessment should be reviewed
• Assess potential severity of wounds
