The TACR15 has the same first 10 days as the TACR10. It also adds in 17th edition, and Essential & Refrigeration Electrics.
Our intensive 10, 15 or 20 day Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses have been structured to meet the ever increasing demands on industry to meet safety, environmental and legal requirements regarding installation, commissioning , service and maintenance of both refrigeration and air conditioning systems including the electrical aspects of installation dependent upon course selection. The first 10 days of the Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training course are mechanical only, the following 5 or 10 days are the electrical aspects, depending on which route you need to go down.

The Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses are accredited with the CITB F-Gas qualification to Category 1 or City & Guilds 2079, CITB Pipework and Brazing – (commercial), along with an EAL Level 3 Unit – Maintenance of Refrigeration Systems from the EAL Level 3 Certificate in Engineering Technology (QCF) qualification.

Our Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses are designed to be as practical as they possibly can be, with workshop time taking more than 70% of the course.

During the Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training course, you will, install, repair, fault find, adapt and commission on a variety of different equipment, because we believe the way to learn is to do it!!

Sufficient skills, knowledge and techniques to install, pressure test, leak test, evacuate, dehydrate and commission typical air-conditioning units in accordance with the regulations and industry good practice. Also you will gain the ability to be able to maintain, install and repair refrigeration plant.

On completion of the 10 day course, candidates will understand the operation of a simple system and be able to carry out diagnostic, installation and repair work. The following qualifications will be undertaken during the course.

BESA Pipework & Brazing
This certification course is designed to ensure that personnel are practiced in the use of special tools and equipment used to install or repair copper pipework in small commercial and split unit air-conditioning systems. It also covers the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act regarding the construction/repair of refrigeration pipework and the high pressure implications of new refrigerants. The course ensures approved standards are achieved. Course notes/record book are provided.

BESA / City & Guilds FGas
Any person who requires the minimum legal requirement to work on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including air conditioning and refrigeration engineers and technicians, all plant engineers, apprentices, personnel concerned with the recovery, charging or disposal of refrigerants and new comers into the industry.

City & Guilds 7543 - Basic Mobile Air Con Systems

This is a two day training course with a practical and oral exam. Candidates will be provided with course study

notes. The qualification is for those who are already practicing in the industry, or for those whose aim is to enter the industry and for those wanting to gain a certificate for their own personal skills development.
