The growing importance of tourism in Portugal is recognized by most public and private decision-makers and operators. However, the tourist potential of our country seems still poorly explored. The design and exploitation of a more diversified, differentiated and sophisticated tourist offer requires professionals who are adequately qualified in the field of tourism management, which is still scarce.

To fill this gap, we gathered the professional skills of various areas of tourism and university professors to offer the Postgraduate in Tourism and Hospitality Management. The combination of the different knowledge and experiences of the academic and business world in a program that combines scientific rigor with a high practical applicability constitutes an excellent training and development opportunity for all people with professional or business activity in the hotel and tourism sector.

The diversity of participants from different subsectors and disparate base formations is another advantage of the program, allowing different perspectives on the same problem, promoting exchange of experiences and networking.
