How will I study?
A mixture of theory and practical to support your training to become a competent operator. Course Contents: - Machine safety checks - Daily/Pre-start checks - Use of manufacturer’s instruction manual - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Controls and instrumentation - Mounting and dismounting - Controls - Move-off procedure - Observation - Safe stop procedure - Use of gears and speed - Use of brakes - Manoeuvring - Use of controls - Planning/safe movement - Knowledge of hit
