Our trader course has been designed and tailored towards candidates who are looking to trade for themselves or have careers within research, trade support or sales trader roles.
On the day you will firstly be introduced to market terminology as understanding this will be crucial when move on to learning about different trading strategies, knowledge of trading mechanisms and different asset classes and how to apply these into to real life trade scenarios.
Furthermore, you will taught the ability to read charting and use technical indicators to implement trades into a platform. Along with this information, you will be taught about risk management and how you can reduce risk as a trader.
As a trader it is important to learn about time horizons and how the different markets are affected. This will give you a clear understanding on how and why asset prices are affected with clear references to case studies and an interactive workshop.

This course is suitable for school leavers, graduates, post-graduates and experienced individuals.

There is no prior requirements needed for this course.

The course is held it two locations in London depending on the amount of students, they can either be held in Central London or North West London offices.

The Saturday course is between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There are two courses available depending on your level.

Yes. All undergraduates, university graduates and postgraduates, regardless of educational qualification are able to attend. The minimum age is 17, only in extenuating circumstances will younger students be considered.

There is a common misconception that individuals with a degree are guaranteed a job, this is not the case. We are in a world where experience counts and our course can lead to an internship and the experience needed to do well.

No qualifications are required; the courses that we offer at the Institute of Broking are available to anyone.
