It gave other views on my study subject which broadened my knowledge more than if I didn't go abroad. Besides that I went to a interesting country in which both international students as local.

Portstewart is a little bit more expensive, but not that much. My advice would be to not take an accomodation in Coleraine (the town is not lively at all at night).
