Course Aim. The course aims to raise the awareness of delegates competence in the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres. To include: Training and assessment to allow delegates to meet National Competence Standards. A 'simulated' working environment in which realistic training and assessment can take place. A means whereby delegates can achieve nationally recognised certification to 'Industry' standards. A means where employers can satisfy their obligation to have. 'competence certificate' personnel. Suitable for Electricians and Technicians who wish to work for companies installing and maintaining electrical equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres. →
